What size art goes above a couch?
Aim for art about two thirds as wide as the sofa, frame included. Under half looks lost; wider than the sofa looks crowded.

How high to hang it
Leave 8 to 10 inches between the top of the sofa back and the bottom of the frame. On a tall wall, keep the center of the art about 57 to 60 inches from the floor.
