Ordering and downloads

What exactly do I receive?

Every print comes as a set of five high-resolution files, one for each common frame ratio: 2:3, 3:4, 4:5, 11:14 and the ISO A series. Together they cover every standard frame from 5 by 7 up to 24 by 36 inches and the A series, so you never have to crop or stretch anything.

When do I get the files?

Immediately. As soon as payment clears, your download page opens and we email you a link that stays valid for your account. Nothing is shipped.

Can I download again later?

Yes. Your download link keeps working, and the order email carries the same link, so keep that email. If you lose it, send us the email address you ordered with from the contact page and we will resend it.

What sizes can I print?

Each product page lists the standard sizes its files support at print quality. Most prints are sharp to 16 by 20 inches at 300 DPI, and larger at the 150 DPI that looks perfect from a normal viewing distance.

Printing

Where should I print?

Anywhere that prints photos: a local print shop, a pharmacy photo counter, an online lab, or a good home inkjet on matte or lustre paper. Our printing guide walks through each option and what to ask for.

Which file do I use?

Match the ratio to your frame. An 8 by 10 or 16 by 20 frame uses the 4:5 file, 11 by 14 uses the 11:14 file, 12 by 18 or 24 by 36 uses the 2:3 file, and A4 or A3 uses the ISO file. A 5 by 7 frame also uses the ISO file, which trims a hair off the long edge. The download page names each file by its sizes.

Will the colors match my screen?

Closely, on a decent printer and paper. Screens glow and paper does not, so prints read a touch softer. Choosing a lustre or matte photo paper keeps blacks rich and whites clean.

Licenses and returns

Can I use a print for my business or resell it?

Purchases include a personal use license: print as many copies as you like for your own home, gifts included. Commercial use, resale of the files or the prints, and sharing the files are not included. Read the full license for details.

Do you offer refunds?

Digital files cannot be returned once downloaded, so we do not offer refunds for a change of mind. If a file is faulty or you cannot open it, write to us from the contact page and we will make it right.

How do I reach a person?

Use the contact page. Every message is read by the studio and answered within a day, including questions about orders placed on Etsy.

Can you change the words or colors?

Open the Remix studio to make your own version of any starter design with our fonts and line art, then download it at print resolution. For a custom order, write to us from the contact page with the words, colors and size you have in mind.
